KEPENTINGAN NEGARA THAILAND DALAM REZIM PARIWISATA INTERNASIONAL ASEAN TOURISM FORUM MELALUI HEALTH AND WELLNESS TOURISM

In order to accelerate regional integration, ASEAN agreed on regional cooperation in the tourism sector by establishing the ATF (ASEAN Tourism Forum). ATF agreed on an ATSP (ASEAN Tourism Strategic Plan) policy with the aim of developing tourism potential in the Southeast Asian region. The policies issued have contributed to the interests of countries in ASEAN in the policy-making process related to health tourism, including Thailand as one of the potential health tourism countries in the Southeast Asia region. This study discusses the interests of Thailand as an ATF international tourism regime through Health and Wellness Tourism. ATF bridges Thailand to realize its interest in becoming a medical center in the Asian region and becoming a tourism regime in the health tourism development strategy in ASEAN. This study uses the concept of an international regime to explain the relationship between Thailand's interests in health tourism and the strategy of developing health tourism in the ATF through the ATSP policy. This study uses a qualitative method with data collection techniques literature study and literature review. Data were obtained from various sources such as books, journals, theses, articles, news, bulletins or ASEAN magazines, official websites related to tourism, especially health and wellness
