Supervisor : Anis Ika Nur Rohmah, M.Kep.MB. Background : Hypertension is a condition where the systolic and diastolic blood pressure increases to 140/90 mmHg. This disease has received public health attention, especially in Indonesia, and is responsible for high morbidity and mortality worldwide. The patient has a condition where the patient is an adherent to the hypertension diet. The purpose of this study is to find out what influences the adherence to a hypertension diet. The research design used in this research is a qualitative research method with a case study research strategy. Data collection with three participants, namely Mrs. R as the first participant, Br. O as the second participant, Mr. O as the third participant. The result obtain from this study are in the form of 3 themes: 1. The importance of motivation on hypertension diet, 2. The influence of knowledge on hypertension diet, 3. The role of family support in hypertension diet compliance. Discussion of this study are the factors that influence adherence to hypertension diet, in which the first participant adheres to a hypertension diet and the role of family support in adherence to a hypertension diet. Conclusion of this research is the factors that influence dietary compliance of hypertensive patients are motivation, knowledge, and support from the family in maintaining the diet and lifestyle of patients with hypertension
