PESAN MORAL DALAM FILM DRAMA (Analisis Isi Pada Series Layangan Putus Karya Benni Setiawan)

Technological developments are increasingly rapid, most of them are bring up various media. One of them is films, films are entertainment for the community and provide many messages. This study is about the moral message contained in a Drama Film entitled Layangan Putus which tells an infidelity issue. This study focuses on the content of the moral message. The purpose of this study is to find out how much the frequency of appearance of moral messages in the film Layangan Putus. In this study apply Laswell's theory of mass communication which in this theory has a part goal, namely the message. Layangan Putus tend to use nonverbal messages in conveying moral messages such as those depicted disappointed, facial expressions when patient and a touch that indicates affection. This research method uses content analysis and uses a quantitative approach with descriptive type. The unit of analysis used by the researcher is the scene and the unit of measurement is the frequency of appearance of moral messages in each categorization that has been determined by the researchers of Layangan Putus up with 3 categories, namely morals in the relationship between humans and God, humans with themselves and humans with other humans in social sphere. The data collection technique in this study used a coding sheet obtained from the data of Layangan putus, assisted by 2 coders. To strengthen this research, the researcher used a reliability test using the Hostly and Scott Pi formulas. The results obtained, the researchers concluded that regarding the frequency of appearance of moral messages in the film Layangan Putus, there are 105 scenes out of a total of 250 scenes. The categorization of moral messages that dominates in this study is the relationship between humans and oneself with a frequency of 56 occurrences with a percentage of 53%. The category of humans with God has a frequency of occurrence of 6 times with a percentage of 6% and the category of moral messages in human relations with other humans has a frequency of 43 times with a percentage of 41%. The results of the reliability test conducted by the researcher with coder 1 showed 76% agreement while the researcher with coder 2 showed agreement of 86% which means that the measuring instrument or codes used in the study were reliable
