HUBUNGAN TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN DENGAN TINGKAT KECEMASAN PERAWAT RUMAH SAKIT SAAT PANDEMI COVID19 DI RUMAH SAKIT UMUM UNIVERSITAS MUHAMMADIYAH MALANG

Background: Corona virus is a large family of viruses that cause disease ranging from mild to severe symptoms. More direct contact with suspected and confirmed Covid-19 patients is experienced by nurses. The level of knowledge of nurses as health workers is very important in handling patients in the midst of the Covid-19 Pandemic. Anxiety in hospital staff is greatly affected by psychological and mental health which will result in nurses or officers at the hospital feeling anxious. Methods: This research is a non-experimental research with a correlational research design. The samples used were nurses who had direct exposure to Covid patients and suspects from March 1, 2021 to June 30, 2021 in the Emergency Room, Covid Isolation Room, HD, Operating Room, ICU, and Polyclinic of the General Hospital of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang. The variable observed was the level of knowledge of nurses on the level of anxiety of nurses caring for Covid patients. Data were analyzed using Spearment Rank (r) with a significant = 0.05. Results: The results show that each variable has a correlation or degree of relationship strength, which is 0.837, which means it has a very strong relationship.
