DAMPAK KERJASAMA TURKI-BOSNIA DAN HERZEGOVINA TERHADAP CITRA TURKI SEBAGAI PEMIMPIN DI KAWASAN

Turkey takes an active role in the Balkans and places greater emphasis on Bosnia and Herzegovina. This is due to the identity ties of the two countries obtained from the Ottoman government. In carrying out its foreign policy, Turkey aims to strengthen relations with neighboring countries and its regional role in the Balkan region. To achieve its goals, the Turkish government is establishing cooperation with Bosnia and Herzegovina in the fields of education and culture, religion, and media. In this case, the author wants to know the impact of Turkey-Bosnia and Herzegovina cooperation on Turkey's role as a leader in the Balkan region. The author uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach and collects data through library research. The author analyzes the roles of Turkey within the national role conception using typologies such as regional protector, cultural prominence, big brother, Muslim leader and example. The author finds that the roles obtained by Turkey include regional protector as a country that is responsible for maintaining stability in the Balkan, big brother as a country that provides aid, cultural prominence as a country that excels in culture, Muslim leader as a country that prioritizes Islamic values in its government and an example as a model of cooperation for other Muslim countries, especially in the Balkan region
