PENERAPAN PERMA NOMOR 1 TAHUN 2019 TENTANG ADMINISTRASI PERKARA DAN PERSIDANGAN DI PENGADILAN SECARA ELEKTRONIK (Studi di Pengadilan Negeri Ponorogo Kelas 1B)

One of the innovations made by the Supreme Court to realize a modern justice system is to stipulate the provisions of Supreme Court Regulation Number 1 of 2019 concerning Case Administration and Electronic Court Trials. The Supreme Court regulation makes it possible for people seeking justice to file cases without having to come directly to court. The existence of an electronic court application is a demand for the needs of the global community. In judicial practice in Indonesia, these provisions are reviewed on the simple, fast, and low cost principles of judicial power. This writing reviews article 2 of the Supreme Court Regulation Number 1 of 2019, where the elements of article 2 have not been fully implemented optimally in the Ponorogo District Court. Therefore, the author will discuss three problem formulations as follows: How to apply electronic case registration in Article 2 of PERMA Number 1 of 2019, How to apply electronic trials according to PERMA Number 1 of 2019, and How to apply electronic registration and trial in terms of the principle is simple, fast, and low cost. The research method used in this study is the Juridical Empirical approach, which is studied using 2 (two) methods, namely: Interview and Literature Study. Conclusions and suggestions from this paper are that the application of the E-Court system is not appropriate and not yet implicative, so improvements are needed in the E-Court system
