HUBUNGAN STATUS GIZI DENGAN KEJADIAN DEMENSIA PADA LANSIA DI PUSKESMAS CIPTOMULYO KOTA MALANG

Demensia is a generative disease that attacked someone above 60. Sufferer would get disturbance ability of intelectual that's why it brings some changes to behaviors. Based on data, it's almost 50 million of 2019 that infected by demensia sufferer living at country with lower and middle income. And almost 10 million of new case in every year. Some of another population that 60 years old get demensia in a determined time. It's give a prediction that it would be 85 million in 2030 adn 152 in 2050. So this research is to know the connectivity between nutrition and demensia in th elderly at public health centre Ciptomulyo, Malang. Methods: This research design uses quantitative descriptive, the sampling technique used is total sampling. The number of samples was 60 elderly respondents, measuring weight and height, while the data collection used a self-modified questionnaire. Result: The results showed that there was no relationship between nutritional status and dementia because the results showed a value of (0.53), while the results of the research at the ciptomulyo health center showed that the elderly had moderate dementia. Conclusion: The analyze of ceonnectivity between nutrition and demensia of public healt centre Malang in 2021 by using chi square shows that there's no relate between nutrition and demensia with (0,53).
