PENGARUH JARAK ANODA KATODA DAN ARUS PADA PROSES PELAPISAN TEMBAGA TERHADAP KETEBALAN DAN KERATAAN PERMUKAAN

Metal nanoparticles such as copper, silver and zinc are known as materials with excellent antibacterial activity. These materials are often used for the development of base products that have low durability and decorative value. Copper is one of the most promising materials due to its corrosion resistance and high heat absorption. In this study, the ST37 steel material was anodized and analyzed for its thickness and flatness. The ST37 anodization process was carried out at a voltage of 6 amperes with a voltage of 1 volt and on an electrolyte of 250 ml of CuSO4 and 60 ml of H2SO4. Furthermore, the anodization process was carried out with variations in the distance of 10 cm, 15 cm, and 20 cm. After the anodization process, ST37 steel was analyzed using microstructure and surface roughness to see the thickness and roughness that occurred. From the results of microstructural testing, it was shown that the anodized ST37 steel sample formed a different thickness and flatness structure on its surface. The best thickness and evenness values were obtained at anodization distance variation of 20 cm, with a thickness of 58.959 (µm) and an evenness of 6.024 Ra. From the research results obtained, the anodized ST 37 steel can be used for further research
