KOMODIFIKASI PRAKTIK TA'ARUF ONLINE MELALUI INSTAGRAM PERSPEKTIF MASLAHAH MURSALAH

Ta'aruf was originally a process of introducing both parties to a marriage without commercial value, now along with the high public interest in ta'aruf through gadgets, undergoing a process of commodification and being used as a profit-making service by the parties behind it. The purpose of this study is to analyze the commodification practices that occur in online ta'aruf accounts on Instagram in terms of the perspective of maslahah mursalah, whether the commodification practices that occur are aimed at the personal interests of the account owner or account admin or are inversely proportional to the benefit of its users. This research is descriptive analysis, which is research that uses the process of collecting data, compiling and explaining the data collected and then analyzed and interpreted using Islamic law. Data collection techniques are carried out by interviewing account admins, account owners and online ta'aruf participants. The results of this study show that the commodification of online ta'aruf practices through Instagram in terms of the perspective of maslahah mursalah is essentially the fees charged by ta'aruf accounts are for operations and paying for admin services (if the account has many followers)
