PERAN PERSEPSI RISIKO COVID-19 TERHADAP KOMITMEN PHBS PADA DEWASA AWAL DI JAWA TIMUR

Individual assessments of the risk of the Covid-19 virus are very diverse. The variety of assessments can certainly affect individual commitment in implementing preventive measures against the Covid-19 virus. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of covid-19 risk perception towards Clean and Healthy Life Behavior commitment in early adulthood in East Java. This study uses a quantitative approach with survey methods. For data retrieval research conducted by accidental sampling technique. The study subjects consisted of 150 people aged 18-25 years living in East Java. The instruments used are the Covid-19 Perceived Risk Scale (CPRS) and the scale that refers to the 3 components of the affective, normative, continuity commitment. The results of the data analysis test using simple linear regression showed that there was no significant role between the perception of Covid-19 risk to the commitment of early adult PHBS in East Java (R= 0.075, R2= 0.006, p=0.364) thus the hypothesis in this study was rejected. It is expected to further researchers to be able to further explore other variables that affect the commitment of PHBS that can not be mentioned in this study
