AKTIVITAS PEMANFAATAN MEDIA DIGITAL SEBAGAI MEDIA DAKWAH DI KOMUNITAS MALANG MENGAJI

The development of digital technology has had a major impact on various activities in human life, including the delivery of Islamic da'wah. If in the past the Dais always prioritized the direct face-to-face method in preaching, where the worshipers and the Dai met each other in an assembly held at the mosque or at a certain place, now da'wah is done more by utilizing digital media. Apart from being based on the widespread use of digital media by the public, this is also a demand for the post-covid-19 pandemic. Based on this explanation, this thesis was written with the aim of studying the da'wah model through digital media applied by the Malang Qur'an community. The community was chosen because of the high level of da'wah activity through digital media that is carried out, either by using YouTube, Instagram, or Whatsapp groups. The results obtained from this research are expected to be taken into consideration for the improvement and development of the da'wah model using digital media, especially for the Malang Qur'an Community as well as for Dai or other Koranic communities who want to be able to maximally utilize digital media as a channel for their da'wah. The type of research used is qualitative with case study method. The data were obtained from interviews with research informants consisting of the management of the Malang Koran community and several congregations who are members. The research analysis is based on McQuail's New Media Theory which states that the existence of new media encourages an increase in aspects of interactivity between the sender and recipient of the message, ease and speed of access, and openness of use. The theory is used to dissect the da'wah model through digital media used by the Malang Studying Community. The analysis was carried out using qualitative analysis stages consisting of data reduction, data validity test, data presentation, and drawing conclusions
