Analisis Faktor Risiko pada Kejadian Masuk Rumah Sakit Penyakit Jantung Koroner di Rumah Sakit Husada Utama Surabaya

Coronary Heart Disease (CHD) is one of the biggest causes of death worldwide. Various factors influence morbidity and mortality due to CHD, including cardiovascular risk factors and comorbidities. This study aims to examine the relationship between cardiovascular risk factors and comorbidities on the severity of the patient's hospital admission, which is seen from the type of CHD and length of stay. This study is a cross-sectional study involving all CHD patients treated at Husada Utama Hospital Surabaya in the period January 2018 to December 2019. Patient data were taken based on medical record data. Data analysis used univariate, bivariate, and multivariate techniques. There were 116 patients admitted to the hospital with a diagnosis of unstable angina, NSTEMI, and STEMI. The most common risk factors found were age over 65 years, men, a history of hypertension, and diabetes mellitus. The most common comorbidity is heart failure. There was a significant relationship between hypertension and the type of CHD experienced during MRS (p=0.032). Meanwhile, the number of comorbidities significantly affected the length of stay of CHD patients in the hospital (p=0.000). The conclusion in this study is that the risk factors for hypertension and the number of comorbidities affect the type and length of treatment for CHD patients, respectively
