International audienceStructural bonding technology has proven to be an economically and attractive connection process in timber engineering. Within old or historical wooden buildings, local reinforcement of weak zones is currently performed by glued-in rods connections. The association of experiments and numerical investigations on small specimens leads to a better knowledge of mechanical and fracture behaviour of such connections. The stiffness evaluation, the pull out strength and the fracture energy are investigated in this study according to the evolution of temperature. Results supply complementary information relative to the safety prediction of glued-in rod connections
