The research studies the professional gestures performed by teacher trainers when conducting in-service sessions with a focus on pedagogical relation. Those training sessions are offered to teams of teachers working in the same school. Those sessions are a response to local education authorities’ requirements and to professional problems encountered by teachers when dealing with relationship with pupils in the classroom. The research describes the activity of expert trainers and their gestures during simulations: role play and real-life professional situation scenario. The concepts of experiential learning (Kolb, 2015), simulation (Pastre, 2005; Audran, 2016) and professional gesture (Jorro, 2018) are used. The research materials are field ...
