The Queensland University of Technology’s (QUT) Student Success Team established the Student Success Coaching model in 2020, to reimagine new opportunities in learning support. Student Success Coaching is a practical model of support, providing a short to medium term student-centric and collaborative relationship (Van Zyl et al, 2020, p.11) focussed on improving student retention and engagement.
