With recent developments in micro Computed Tomography (CT), biomedical researchers have begun to explore the potential of this radiographic approach to microscopy. The key advantage of micro CT includes its ability to rapidly and nondestructively provide three dimensional analysis at high resolutions. Currently, micro CT has been employed in several areas of research such as trabecular bone, scaffold characterizations, tissue regeneration analysis and the imaging of vasculature and soft tissues. As this imaging technology is still in development, more applications are anticipated.</p
