The face of motherhood in disability

ilustraciones, gráficas, tablasEsta investigación tuvo como objetivo principal identificar el sentido de las maternidades vividas y comprender las experiencias propias relatadas por un grupo de madres integrado por seis mujeres con distintas discapacidades en los contextos cotidianos y los territorios que habitan, en la ciudad de Bogotá y en zonas veredales del occidente de Boyacá. Propuse un estudio de tipo cualitativo con aportes del enfoque fenomenológico, utilizando como técnicas de investigación la entrevista, los relatos de vida, los mapas de relieve, los familiogramas y los ecomapas. Se develaron las opresiones estructurales y las microagresiones capacitistas vividas en la vida cotidiana de las mujeres en la interacción con las instituciones socioculturales de la región y se conocieron los influjos de los mandatos de la maternidad y de la no maternidad, expuestas con el (no) entre paréntesis, que coactan las libertades de las mujeres, sus derechos y su decisión de ser o no ser madres. (Texto tomado de la fuente).The main objective of this research wasto dentify the meaning of the maternities lived and to understand the own experiences reported by a group of mothers composed of six women with different disabilities in the daily contexts and territories they inhabit, in the city of Bogotá and rural areas of Boyacá. It is qualitative under a phenomenological approach, using as research techniques the interview, life stories, relief maps, familiograms and ecomaps.
