Alzheimer’s disease is a form of dementia that affects a person\u27s memory and quality of life as their brain deteriorates. This disease can present itself with frequent memory loss, displacing oneself in unknown location, and often physical reduction of the brain. Alzheimer’s is estimated to affect 5.8 million people in the United States with no cure, strictly preventative recommendations. Early detection of Alzheimer’s provides patients with the opportunity to take preventative measures and plan for the future.
