Background: The One-Minute Preceptor (OMP) model to teach diagnostic reasoning and Reporter, Interpreter, Manager, Educator (RIME) framework to measure progress are used successfully in physician training programs. Currently, little is known about use of these tools in nurse practitioner (NP) training.
