We aimed to determine muscle strength in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and several factors including structural joint damage that may affect decrease in muscle strength. The relations between muscle strength and quality of life and functional disability were examined. Material and Methods: Seventy five RA patients and 51 controls were involved. Demographic characteristics, body mass index, waist circumference, 25-hydroxy vitamin D, and patient global assessments of disease activity (PGA) were documented.
