This research proposes a crescent patch antenna with inset fed and rectangular slots for 5G applications. The patch antenna proposed in this study is designed to operate at the frequency of 28 GHz for use in 5G applications. A 50-ohm microstrip feeding technique is used together with the Rogers DiClad 880 substrate with a 2.2 dielectric constant and 1.524 mm thickness for the designed antenna. CST Microwave Studio software program is preferred to simulate the results of the proposed antenna design. The parameters consider in this study are return loss, gain, radiation pattern and bandwidth. The designed antenna is 35x35x1.524 mm3 in size and has an impedance bandwidth of 6 GHz. The gain and directivity have been increased from 5.28 dB to 6...
