This review describes the effects of both acute and chronic aluminum toxicity in addition to the general pharmacokinetics of aluminum. The question of Alzheimer’s disease, autism spectrum disorder and neurodegenerative conditions and their relation to aluminum is explored as well as the implication of aluminum toxicity on the future of medicine
