Silniční prach je v dnešní době často studovaná matrice vzhledem k akumulaci antropogenní kontaminace s akcentem na silniční dopravu. Práce je zaměřena na studium silničního prachu z aglomerace mongolského hlavního města Ulánbátaru. Celkem 113 vzorků bylo rozděleno do devíti sad mapující hlavní silniční komunikace. U vzorků byla provedena frakcionace proséváním na tři velikostní frakce a dále rozklad lučavkou královskou. Vzorky střední frakce 45–63 µm byly analyzovány pomocí ICP–MS hmotnostní spektrometrie. Pro hodnocení kontaminace byly analyzované prvky rozděleny do dvou skupin: kontaminanty (Cr, Cu, Zn, Pb a As) a prvky vzácných zemin (REE).
