With Brookhart type α-diimine Ni(II) based catalysts, it is highly challenging to tune polymers branching level and branch-type distribution, which in turn strongly affects thermal and mechanical properties, through the aryl ortho-positions modification, while maintaining high turnover frequencies (TOFs).
