Enjeux actuels des écritures dramatiques au Burkina Faso : perspectives institutionnelles et esthétiques

Beginning with the observation of the marginalized place of dramatic texts, or plays, in Burkina Faso, I propose to shine light on the legitimacy, circulation, and dissemination of the plays starting from the city of Ouagadougou, which is considered a cultural centre. When opportunities for publication are insufficient, writers produce plays at the intersection of producing networks, (urban, pan-African, Francophone), and thus have the possibility for their work to exist separately from conventional forms of legitimization. The implementation of a pluralistic method: the identification of published plays, the collection of unpublished plays, or extracts from plays written in Mooré translated into French allows me to deconstruct the mechanizations of critical marginalization and to read together dramatic texts of different statures.The analysis of these texts in light of the contexts of their institutional production reveals the cosmopolitan dynamics of African literature from a different point of view, that of an African literary space. The texts appear as a place for constituting an understanding equally of literature and of theatre. Finally, this work explores the possibility of the dramatic texts to reinforce, question, and negotiate the general sharing through the institutional and scenic criteria.Partant du constat de la situation de marginalisation critique dans laquelle se trouvent les textes dramatiques écrits au Burkina Faso, je propose d’éclairer les logiques de légitimation, circulation et diffusion des textes à partir de la ville de Ouagadougou, considérée comme épicentre culturel. Si le débouché éditorial demeure insuffisant, les auteurs produisent des textes au croisement des réseaux de circulation (urbain/panafricain/francophone) et ont ainsi la possibilité de se distinguer à différentes échelles de légitimation. La mise en œuvre d’une méthode plurielle – identification de textes édités, collecte de textes non édités, traduction de textes ou extraits de textes du mooré vers le français permet de déconstruire les ressorts d’une marginalisation critique et de lire ensemble les textes de différents statuts. L’analyse de ces textes à la lumière de leur contexte institutionnel de production révèle les dynamiques cosmopolites de la littérature africaine à partir d’un autre point de vue de l’espace littéraire africain. Les textes apparaissent également comme un lieu de constitution d’une mémoire de la littérature et du théâtre. Enfin, ce travail explore la possibilité des textes à renforcer, questionner, négocier les partages génériques fondés sur des critères institutionnels et scéniques
