Qualitative methodology used in Human Geography borrows techniques and protocols from Sociology, Anthropology and even Psychology and adapts them to Geography. Field observations, spatial transformations, territorial markers, individual and collective approaches of actors are all part of the qualitative methodology serving various research themes.
