International audienceIn Experiment 1, two batches of 144 finishing pigs, beginning at 55 kg body weight, were fed 0% (T1), 10% (E10) or 20% (E20) silage lucerne in their feed intake. In Experiment 2, two batches of 129 fattening pigs, beginning at 22 kg body weight, were allocated to three treatments. The control group was fed 100% growing and finishing feeds. The other two groups − EL and TVRG − were rationed at 95% and received wrapped lucerne or wrapped red clover/ryegrass, respectively, ad libitum. Technical, economic and social performances were assessed and related economic performances of crop systems on a pig farm.
