International audienceBackground Fanconi syndrome (FS) is a rare renal disorder featuring proximal tubule dysfunction that may occur following tubular reabsorption of a monoclonal light chain (LC), in patients with multiple myeloma. FS may precede the recognition of multiple myeloma by several years.
