This research work is the first fundamental study carried out with the purpose of investigating the effects of hydrodynamic forcings onto beach morpho-sedimentary change along the Iroise Sea coast. It is supported by the Coastal Domain Observatory (Universe Sciences Observatory) that focuses on the observation of long term variability of biological, chemical, physical parameters in the coastal domain. Within this issue, four field sites have been chosen as good indicators of morphological and hydrodynamic diversity in this macrotidal and swell-dominated setting.
