Memory, frequently affected in breast cancer, can decrease quality of life of patients, especially when prospective memory and autobiographical memory are impaired, both essential for well-being and autonomy of patients. The main goal of this thesis was to improve knowledge about the functioning of these memories, and investigate the influence of various factors on their functioning. We revealed self-certainty influences autobiographical memories retrieval, whereas no negative impact of chemotherapy was observed. We also revealed that hormonal therapy has a negative impact on wake and sleep consolidation in prospective memory.
