International audienceOBJECTIVES: Accidental hypothermia increases mortality and morbidity after hemorrhage, but controversial data are available on the effects of therapeutic hypothermia. Therefore, we tested the hypothesis whether moderate pretreatment hypothermia would beneficially influence organ dysfunction during long-term, porcine hemorrhage and resuscitation.
