This work takes part of the SCCoDRa project (Monitoring and Control of Corrosion of Metal Components for the Storage of Radioactive Waste). The study aims to contribute to proposals for combinations of techniques capable of providing additional information for the detection and the monitoring of localized and uniform corrosion of carbon steel. First, the potentials of Electrochemical Noise Measurements (ENM) and Acoustic Emission (AE) were studied for the detection, the identification and the monitoring of localized corrosion of carbon steel.
