The discovery of photoluminescence of nanometric silicon paves the way to use silicon in optoelectronic devices. However this photoluminescence remains low and a lot of works aim at improving silicon optical properties. In this dissertation we study localized surface plasmons to improve optical properties of silicon nanocrystals. Thanks to the control of all geometrical parameters of silicon nanocrystals and metallic nanoparticles during the fabrication process, the coupling process between these two objects has been studied.
