Theater may be an useful instrument to encourage expression and communication of emotions, and so improve a suitable training for future psychologists.This contribution refers to an experience carried out on academic year 2011/2012 with a group of students in Psychology who attended a theater workshop. Findings come from a qualitative evaluation research that involved all social actors (students, professors, trainers), and show importance of such experience in improving self-awareness, a deeper knowledge of emotional feelings and a link between theoretical constructs and individual perceptions
