The aim of this thesis is to explain what the Mind is. Not so much on all the philosophical possibilities as to how it could be, but how it actually is according to our best knowledge. Therefore there is a heavy emphasis on neuro-physics and psychology throughout all of the chapters. In general the Mind can be divided into three parts; sense organs, memory and the consciousness. Most of the data provided by neuro-physics and psychology is on memory, which in general is described as chemical in its nature.
