Warehouse automation possibilities, their implementations and benefits

This thesis focuses on different warehouse automation methods, their benefits and implementation processes. The author goes in depth into the use of RFID, WMS, ERP, robotics and wearables, and why and when they should be utilized in a warehouse. The report includes a theoretical part, where the author presents data on the topic from various literature sources, as well as a survey that was answered by warehouse workers. The survey was conducted in order to find out the employees opinions and experiences with automation. The aim was to create a guide for companies that are planning to automate their warehouse to some degree, and manages to do that for companies and warehouses of various sizes and with different budgets
