In this thesis, we consider the problem of tracking the direction of arrival (DOA) of multiple targets with phased arrays. Different methods are proposed and applied to bathymetry reconstruction in port and canal areas. Bathymetry represents an underwater depth map, that is, a 3D image of the underwater relief, which is obtained by processing sonar phased array data. Port and canal areas pose new challenges, such as multi-path propagation and reverberation, which for classical array processing methods lead to numerous ¿spurious¿ DOA estimates (i.e. false detections).
