The devices are crucial elements in the Internet of Things (IoT) applications. The correct selection of these elements influences the quality, cost, and adequate addressing of the application depending on the needs in each of the IoT verticals. In this sense, the need for methodologies for selecting IoT devices is an exciting field to explore in research.
