In my thesis project I wanted to learn about how architecture affects people and how we can design spaces that can make people feel less stressed. I started out by researching about environmental psychology and the senses and combined what I learned into a building that can help promote mental well being. Stressed people have a harder time living in the present, with so much going on in their head, so a sensoric layer is incorporated, helping people become more present. Colours are used according to colour psychology, creating different moods in different spaces that affect the visitor.The building also provides several social meeting places, spaces where you can relax by yourself and focus inwards, and beautiful views that connect you to ...
