This paper examines how the resources within schools are affecting the students' achievement, and if there is a differential in the effect depending on students’ parents’ educational level. Would increased school resources in the form of reduced class sizes result in higher achievements for the students? To estimate the effect of school resources on students' achievement we use linear regression with fixed effects. This study finds a statistically significant positive relationship between class size and student achievement. In the study, we can draw some different conclusions, mainly that the resources put in school affect the students' achievements differently depending on parents’ educational level
