Aim: The aim of this cross-sectional study was to investigate the prevalence of Computer Vision Syndrome symptoms in office workers conducting ordinary computer work and if the intensity of such symptoms covaried with self-estimated limitations in work productivity. Method: A digitalized survey consisting of Computer Vision Syndrome Questionnaire and Work Limitations Questionnaire was sent out to 580 office workers at three different organizations. 146 people responded to the survey (25% response rate). After removal due to exclusion criteria’s, 54 (59%) women and 38 (41%) men remained. Multiple regression analysis analyzed the association between visual symptoms and self-assessed productivity loss.
