A significant part of the Swedish population has some form of disability, which makes good accessibility a factor that can be decisive for whether everyone can use a website or not. Nowadays, there is a legal requirement for public actors' websites to be accessible to everyone, which places higher demands on developers and their work with accessibility adaptation. Previous research shows that there is little knowledge in how digital accessibility should be applied to the web, while reviews of websites confirm the shortcomings in accessibility.
