The study is examining in which ways arranged educational trips to concentration camps are affecting high school and secondary school students. The aim of this study is to increase the knowledge of how meaningful the visit to concentration camps are for students. The result is based on six interviews with different teachers who arrange these sorts of trips. The result of the study demonstrates that these kinds of educational trips often make students more motivated to learn more about the subject. The teachers emphasize the importance of them guiding the students in the concentration camps, rather than using guides, since they can adapt the content to be more suitable for a history lesson.
