Perceptions de l'enclavement dans une oasis saharienne du Nord Niger

International audienceConfronting the notion of isolation with the social and spatial realities of a Saharan oasis allows to question the objects to which relates this notion while exposing its relative character. The feeling of isolation which the populations in an oasis of the North Niger have, seems directly connected with the link between their intentions of mobility and their capacities to be mobile. The situation of isolation in which some migrants are in the heart of Sahara shows that the discontinuities which limit human mobility, by amplifying distances to cover, can be material, symbolic or imaginary.Confronter la notion d'enclavement aux réalités sociales et spatiales d'une oasis saharienne permet d'interroger les objets auxquels se rapporte cette notion tout en exposant son caractère relatif. La perception de l'enclavement qu'ont les populations dans une oasis du Nord Niger apparaît directement liée au rapport entre leurs intentions de mobilité et leurs capacités d'être mobiles. La situation d'enclavement dans laquelle se retrouvent certains migrants au cœur du Sahara montre que les discontinuités qui limitent la mobilité humaine, en amplifiant les distances à franchir, peuvent être matérielles, symboliques ou imaginaires
