This study aims at investigating experimentally and analytically the influence of temperature, pressure and solution velocity on the ammonia vapor mass transfer through a microporous hydrophobic membrane and the absorption into a thin film of ammonia/water solution. To achieve this objective, a mathematical model has been developed and a sensitivity analysis has been carried out in order to determine the influence of the solution mass flow rate, pressure and temperature in the mass and heat transfer processes. For validating the model, an experimental test bench has been designed and built and preliminary results have been obtained.Papers presented to the 12th International Conference on Heat Transfer, Fluid Mechanics and Thermodynamics, Co...
