The main aim of the research was to determine whether visually and mobility disabled students experience access constraints at a particular tertiary education institution. Certain categories of difficulty, levels of accessibility and support provided to disabled students were identified. On the basis of the results of the study, guidelines were provided to increase the accessibility of the tertiary institution. In the last two decades there has been increasing awareness of the need to take active steps against the discrimination of people with disabilities. It is therefore critical that institutions of higher education lead the way to show society how to overcome accessibility constraints that have always prevented people with disabilities...
