The exponential advancements in the field of electronics and power generation have resulted in increased pressure on the thermal management of these systems where the desire for enhanced heat transfer is prevalent. A technique for enhancing heat transfer that has gained sufficient attention over the past two decades is to suspend nano-sized metallic particles in a base fluid in order to enhance its thermophysical properties.
