Background: Targeted therapeutic mild hypercapnia may attenuate brain injury in comatose adults resuscitated from out-of-hospital cardiac arrest. Objective: To describe the study protocol and statistical analysis plan for the Targeted Therapeutic Mild Hypercapnia after Resuscitated Cardiac Arrest (TAME) trial.
