Non-terrestrial networks (NTNs) will become an indispensable part of future wirelessnetworks. Integration with terrestrial networks will provide new opportunities for both satellite andterrestrial telecommunication industries and therefore there is a need to harmonize them in a unifiedtechnological framework.
