In this work, we have developed many techniques adapted to the detection of the ionization of a solid drug. Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR), Thermoluminescence (TL), High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Gaz Chromatography (GC) and UV-visible Spectrometry have been studied. The irradiated drug is characterized by its radioresistance. These techniques will lead to different results depending on the solid compounds. Each compound is a particular case and should be subjected to γ-ray stability study. So far, no structure-radiostability relationships are available.
